01/05/07
Since going on sale on 24th April over 1,600 copies of The One-Armed Cookbook have been distributed, raising a fantastic $58,000 for the Perinatal Research Centre at the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital.
This is a fabulous achievement but The One-Armed Cookbook team needs to raise more for this live-saving research facility.
Every cent of the $29.95 cover price goes towards helping Australia's premature babies get the best possible start in life so buy your copy today.
Thank you, thank you, thank you

The One-Armed Cookbook 'Thank You' party was held at the Chalk Bar in Brisbane on 24th April to thank some of the supporters who freely donated their time, talent or financial assistance to help the Cookbook become a reality.
Over 150 guests attended including Alastair McLeod from Brett's Wharf, Channel Seven's Sports Resporter Ben Davis and Professor Colditz from the RBWH, with MC Terry Hanson from Brisbane's 97.3fm comparing the event.
Guests were shown a video of some of the premmie babies at the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital, to drive home the message of where the funds were going, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house while it was playing - so inspirational are these tiny bubs who fight for survival.
The Cookbook creators - young mums Sally Warren, Tara Castle and Victoria Brown - were welcomed to the stage with rapturous applause. Without their creative vision, persuasive natures and hard work The One-Armed Cookbook would not exist.
Hundreds of people helped the mums achieve their goal of donating 100% of the Cookbook $29.95 cover price to the Perinatal Research Centre at the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital and they should all feel very proud of themselves. Everyone who purchases a copy of the book should feel very proud of themselves too - you have helped to save lives.
The One-Armed Cookbook is now on sale!
